Stoma Measuring Guides

Use our round and oval stoma measuring guides to help ensure a good skin barrier fit, and help prevent peristomal skin complications.

A good fit is when the skin barrier opening fits where the skin and stoma meet, and you have filled in any gaps, creases, or folds. Measure stoma size with these guides before every barrier application during the first 6-8 weeks after ostomy surgery to be sure of stoma size as swelling reduces. After that, measure periodically to ensure the stoma size has not changed due to other factors like weight gain or loss.
