Hollister Education Continence Care has developed an eLearning module on intermittent catheterization to offer healthcare professionals the opportunity to learn more about intermittent catheterization, a form of bladder management.
The eLearning module aims to help the health care professionals understanding on what intermittent catheterization entails, why it is recommended and what is needed to assess, train and support patients in performing intermittent catheterization and integrate intermittent catheterization into their lives.

There are 3 lessons in total, with an assessment at the conclusion of lesson 1 and 2.
Along with an Addendum on intermittent self-dilatation.
This lesson focuses on anatomy and physiology of the lower urinary tract, basics on the normal urination process and health changes that can lead to dysfunction.
The addendum at the end of this lesson contains supplemental information on intermittent self-dilatation, which is intermittent self-catheterization with the purpose of dilating the urethra.
